Beyond the Famous Rich Tsukemen|松戸富田麺絆 (Tomita Ramen Tokyo Station)

Rich dipping noodles (tsukemen) with thick pork and fish broth at Tomita ramen, KITTE Marunouchi. 丸の内KITTEのとみた 濃厚つけ麺。

The owner of "Tomita" trained at a branch of Taishoken.
That's right, Taishoken's Yamagishi is the creator of tsukemen.
His creation sparked a boom in tsukemen, which then spread throughout Japan.

The original flagship store was in Chiba Prefecture, but they've also opened a branch near Tokyo Station.

Tomita's tsukemen, which carries the Taishoken DNA that created the tsukemen boom in Japan, is a must-try!

And once you've mastered tsukemen…
This restaurant is famous for its tsukemen, but surprisingly, it's not well-known that their ramen is also incredibly delicious.
So, if you have the time, be sure to try their ramen!

There is a building called "Marunouchi Kitte" located very close to Tokyo Station.
It is on the first basement floor of that building.

KITTE Marunouchi B1F, 2-7-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

It's directly connected to Tokyo Station, so you can head there, but the easiest way to get there is to exit the Marunouchi South Exit( 丸の内南口 ).
Once you exit, you'll see a beautiful building diagonally to the left.
That's "Marunouchi Kitte."

Once you enter the building, there's an escalator leading down to the basement. If you go down and walk around that area, you'll easily find several ramen shops lined up.

There are many menu items, so we will introduce the basic menu items.

What do you want to eat?😆

Rich dipping noodles (tsukemen) with thick pork and fish broth at Tomita ramen, KITTE Marunouchi. 丸の内KITTEのとみた 濃厚つけ麺。

Currently, this is the most popular thick tsukemen.
90% of the foreign visitors to this restaurant order this.
And they always say it's delicious.

I also think this thick tsukemen is incredibly delicious.

Standard tsukemen noodles with dipping soup from Tomita ramen at KITTE Marunouchi. 丸の内KITTEのとみた 通常のつけ麺

It all started with this tsukemen.
The seasoning is quite sweet with a hint of vinegar.
I personally don't eat this type of tsukemen very often, but many people like the flavor.

Traditional chuka soba ramen with pork, egg, menma, and narutomaki(定番の中華そば)

This restaurant and the restaurant where the owner trained are famous for their tsukemen, but their ramen is also incredibly delicious!! I highly recommend you try this ramen at least once.

I overwhelmingly prefer this ramen to tsukemen.

Chuka soba ramen with all toppings: assorted char siu, egg, menma, seaweed, and green onions

These toppings are fantastic.
The chashu pork slices are especially enjoyable, as each piece is cooked differently, either boiled or grilled.
It's cooked in a way that suits each cut of pork, such as loin or belly, so it goes without saying that it's delicious.

Tomita’s soy sauce ramen with raw egg rice bowl (tamago kake gohan) at KITTE Marunouchi. とみた 中華そばと玉子かけご飯。

In Japan, many people eat raw eggs over rice.
And the eggs at this restaurant are especially fresh.
Eating them with soy sauce is a true Japanese pleasure.
Be sure to give it a try!

Pig cartilage is naturally tough, but this is boiled until soft and seasoned, making it easy to eat.
Personally, this is my favorite rice dish.

Large handmade gyoza from Tomita ramen restaurant in KITTE Marunouchi, Tokyo. とみた 丸の内KITTEの大きな手作り餃子

These gyoza are delicious and full of meat juice.
I thought gyoza from restaurants with branches wouldn't be tasty, but I was wrong -
they were incredibly delicious!

It seems that the closing days are the same as those of Marunouchi Kitte.

I've always loved Taishoken ramen.

As mentioned above, Taishoken is the restaurant where the owner of Tomita trained.

I was so happy when Tomita opened near Tokyo Station that I always go there to eat.

Their rich tsukemen is popular, but personally I love their ramen.

You'll know how much I love Taishoken ramen! I sometimes eat it four or five times a week.

As you can see, I always eat ramen at "Tomita" 😂

Sometimes I feel like cheating and go for the rich tsukemen…

So, if you're a foreigner visiting "Tomita," be sure to try their ramen!
