I Had a Hangover… But Akanoren(赤のれん) Ramen Saved Me

I had a terrible hangover today and wasn't really hungry, but I decided to visit Akanoren, located inside the Marunouchi Building just steps from Tokyo Station.
Tonkotsu ramen is often known for being rich and heavy, but Akanoren is different. It has a deep pork bone flavor while remaining surprisingly light, making it easy to enjoy even when you're not feeling your best.
What I Ordered
【 Ramen 】

In the end, I have to say... it's just as delicious as I remembered.
Akanoren originally started as a popular Hakata ramen shop in Roppongi, and now they also have a location inside the Marunouchi Building.
The original Roppongi shop is usually crowded, but this Marunouchi location isn't too busy outside of peak hours, so I find myself coming back quite often.
The mild yet flavorful pork bone broth pairs perfectly with the thin noodles. The crunchy bamboo shoots add a nice texture, and the well-seasoned chashu pork is packed with flavor.
It was another satisfying bowl of ramen that hit the spot.
So, everything is going well (*´▽`*)
