Introducing Ajino Gyutan Kisuke, one of Sendai's most famous gyutan restaurants, now conveniently located at Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit.
About Ajino Gyutan Kisuke Tokyo Station Yaesu North Exit （ 味の牛タン喜助 ）
Although the original Ajino Gyutan Kisuke is located in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, you don't have to travel all the way to Sendai to enjoy authentic gyutan. You can experience the same delicious charcoal-grilled beef tongue right inside Tokyo Station.
Conveniently located near the Yaesu North Exit, it's an excellent stop for sightseeing, shopping, or before boarding the Shinkansen.
The restaurant is also open during the afternoon, making it easy to visit outside the busy lunch hours. Despite its popularity, the waiting time is usually reasonable, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Personally, this is my favorite place to eat gyutan around Tokyo Station, and it's the restaurant I visit most often.

I ordered the grated yam as a side dish. The oxtail soup was delicious, and the barley rice paired perfectly with the beef tongue and grated yam. It was so good that I couldn't stop eating 😆

The beef tongue is delicious on its own, but it pairs incredibly well with the barley rice. Once you start eating, it's hard to stop!
Some pieces are incredibly tender, while others have a firmer, chewier texture. Both offer a different experience, so you can enjoy the variety depending on your preference.

The regular beef tongue is delicious, and the juicy harami with its rich, savory flavor makes this set an incredible value!
It's the kind of meal that makes you want to keep eating rice. I felt like I could eat up to 38 bowls of barley rice! 😂
If you're visiting Kisuke for the first time, this is definitely one of the best set meals to try.

The beef tongue is excellent, but the side dishes are just as enjoyable. If you ask, the staff are often happy to give you extra spicy miso or other condiments.
Thanks to its great location and outstanding food, the restaurant gets very busy during lunch hours. However, if you visit during the off-peak hours, you can often get a table without waiting.
