Menkoidokoro Kiraku in Shimbashi is a ramen shop in Tokyo and the sister shop of Menkoidokoro Isoji, a popular ramen shop in Yoyogi.

Compared with Isoji, Kiraku tends to be less crowded, and especially in the evening, it is often possible to get a seat without much of a wait.

Shoyu Ramen|醤油ラーメン

A bowl of shoyu ramen served at Men Koidokoro Kiraku in Shimbashi, Tokyo, a popular ramen and tsukemen shop.

The ramen has a fairly classic shoyu-based flavor, with a noticeable seafood aroma added to it.

The noodles are easy to eat, and the soup is light and easy to drink. If I had one small complaint, I would personally prefer a little more depth from both the seafood and meat-based broth.

Most of the customers around me seemed to be ordering the tsukemen, so that appears to be the more popular choice here.

Overall, I thought the ramen was good, but personally, it felt just a little lacking in depth and impact.

Most customers seemed to be ordering the tsukemen. With this type of ramen shop, I often find that the tsukemen has a stronger flavor and feels more satisfying, so that may be the better choice here.
