▶ What I Tried
Hot Udon with Toriten & Chikuwa Tempura | とり天ちくわ天うどん(温)

The chicken tempura (Toriten) is deeply seasoned and incredibly addictive. It pairs incredibly well with the thick, chewy Udon noodles and the flavorful dashi broth.
The Chikuwa tempura is also perfectly crispy with a great bite—absolutely delicious!
Cold Bukkake Udon with Toriten & Chikuwa Tempura | とり天ちくわ天ぶっかけ(冷)

While the regular hot soup version is great, this Bukkake style is my absolute favorite.
Because it has less broth, the rich and concentrated dashi flavor coats the noodles perfectly, making you want to slurp it non-stop!
Personally, I feel that this cold style lets you experience the firm, chewy texture of the noodles much more clearly.

▶ Final Thoughts
Even if there is a line outside, the turnover is incredibly fast, so you won’t have to wait for very long.
On the counter, you'll find free Tempura flakes (Tenkasu), soy sauce, and Shichimi chili pepper, so feel free to customize and enjoy changing the flavors!
Finally, please remember to bring your empty bowl back to the return counter (Henkyaku-guchi) after finishing your delicious meal.
