Kaneda often has a queue, and many of its customers are international visitors. The unlimited complimentary nori and raw eggs are a nice bonus, too.

Shio Ramen|塩らーめん

A bowl of seafood-based shoyu ramen served at Kaneda in KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station.

A delicate, refined bowl of ramen with subtle hints of dried sardines and bonito in the broth. Everything feels neatly balanced and understated.

Ramen & Kuroge Wagyu Rice Bowl|らーめん・黒毛和牛丼

Ramen topped with sliced meat, an egg and shredded scallions beside a Kuroge Wagyu rice bowl at Kaneda Marunouchi.

The tender beef has a sweet seasoning, and adding a complimentary raw egg gives it a delicious sukiyaki-style twist. The ramen and beef rice bowl set is affordable, tasty and filling.

Compared with before, I feel like Kaneda has a lot more international customers now.

I’m not sure why, but the change is pretty noticeable.

Maybe the word is spreading among visitors to Tokyo?

Either way, it is interesting to see how much the crowd has changed.
