Fukumi is part of the Setagaya ramen group and was created as a shop focused on refined chuka soba.

Its clear broth is built around premium chicken, with a carefully blended soy sauce tare designed to bring out a clean but deep flavor.

The KITTE Marunouchi location has plenty of counter seats, and compared with some of the busier ramen shops around Tokyo Station, it often feels relatively easy to get a seat.

Shoyu Ramen|醤油らーめん

A bowl of classic chicken-based shoyu ramen served at Fukumi in KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station.

This is a light and easy-to-eat bowl of ramen.

The flavor is clean and pleasant, but personally, I would have liked a little more punch and depth.

Shio Ramen|塩らーめん

A bowl of shio ramen served at Fukumi in KITTE Marunouchi near Tokyo Station.

This is a refined shio ramen with a light layer of chicken oil floating on the surface.

The flavor is clean and elegant, but personally, I found the overall taste a little too mild.

I would have preferred a slightly richer flavor with a bit more punch.

I once tried a limited-time Iekei ramen at this shop.

To be honest, I really did not enjoy it.

Of course, it was only a limited-time menu,
so I would not judge the whole restaurant based on that one bowl.

But personally, that particular ramen was not for me at all.
