Bacal Ramen banner featuring shoyu, tonkotsu, miso and tsukemen-style ramen with Mount Fuji, cherry blossoms and a Tokyo skyline in the background

Part of the popular Ramen Daisenso brand, this Kanda location is known for its distinctive shoyu ramen, house-made noodles, and eye-catching presentation.

The shop has a modern, casual atmosphere, and one of its most recognizable features is the generous serving of thinly sliced chashu arranged around the bowl.

It is an easy place to visit from Kanda Station and a good option if you want to try a modern style of Japanese shoyu ramen in central Tokyo.

Pistol | ピストル

A bowl of shoyu ramen served at Ramen Daisenso in Kanda, Tokyo, featuring a savory Japanese-style broth with chicken and bonito flavors.

The menu name “Pistol” is a little unusual, but it is simply the name of the ramen.

Personally, when I look at the ramen itself, it feels fairly standard overall.

The shop may put more emphasis on the chashu, and I think the chashu is quite good.

The restaurant stays open during the afternoon as well, and the interior has a stylish, café-like atmosphere.

If you visit outside the busy lunch or dinner hours, it can be a nice place to enjoy a bowl of ramen at a more relaxed pace.

Personally, I think this quieter time is one of the better ways to enjoy the shop.
