Menya Musashi’s Rich and Hearty Style in Hamamatsucho

Menya Musashi Hamamatsucho is known for its rich double broth, combining animal-based and seafood flavors with thick, chewy noodles.

Both the ramen and tsukemen have a bold, satisfying character, and the generous toppings give the bowls a hearty feel.

Compared with some other Menya Musashi locations, this shop has a particularly rich and filling style.

Ramen | ら〜麺

A bowl of ramen served at Menya Musashi Hamamatsucho in Tokyo.

Many customers seem to order the tsukemen.

Personally, though, whenever I come here, I usually end up ordering the ramen.
The thicker noodles pair really well with the double broth, and I think the combination works very well.

Tsukemen | つけ麺

Tsukemen with thick chewy noodles, sliced chashu and rich dipping broth at Menya Musashi Hamamatsucho in Tokyo

The tsukemen is especially memorable for its very thick dipping broth, which is strong enough to coat and hold up to the thick noodles.

I think the tsukemen probably has broader appeal than the ramen.

It is rich, but packed with umami, and the noodles have a smooth, satisfying texture that makes it surprisingly easy to keep eating.

Menya Musashi Hamamatsucho is very convenient to reach from Hamamatsucho Station, but the entrance is slightly tucked away, so it may be a little difficult to spot on your first visit.

Once you know where it is, though, it is an easy place to stop by for a satisfying bowl of ramen or tsukemen.
