Ramen Ichiro is a small ramen shop located in the basement of a building in Ginza.
The restaurant is quite compact and is usually run by just one person, so service can take a little longer when it gets busy.
If that happens, it is best to relax and enjoy the wait rather than rush.

▶ What I Tried
Shoyu Ramen|醤油ラーメン

The ramen has a classic shoyu flavor with a slightly nostalgic character, almost like a familiar bowl from an old-school ramen shop.
The chashu is tender and lightly seasoned, which keeps the overall bowl balanced.
The soup is tasty and easy to drink, although personally I would prefer it to be just a little stronger and more concentrated.
ShiJimi Ramen|塩ラーメン

The Shijimi Clam Ramen has a clear, light broth with a gentle shellfish character.
The flavor is clean and easy to drink, with the shijimi clams adding a subtle savory depth rather than an overly strong seafood taste.
If you are expecting a very intense clam flavor, it may feel a little mild, but as a light and refreshing bowl, it is easy to enjoy.
▶ Final Thoughts
The interior may feel smaller than expected, especially if you are used to more spacious ramen shops.
It is not really the kind of place you would visit for a stylish atmosphere or a long, relaxing meal. The focus is more on having a quick bowl of ramen in a simple, no-frills setting.
Outside the peak lunch hours, however, the shop often feels much quieter and it is usually easier to get a seat.
