Wagyu Sukiyaki & Soba at Echigo Kanouya ( 越後 叶家 ) in Kawasaki

I was in the mood for soba, so I decided to have lunch at
Echigo Kanouya, located inside Lazona Kawasaki Plaza.

I recently moved to Kawasaki, Kanagawa, so I’d like to start
exploring more restaurants around the area.

Kawasaki has a huge variety of places to eat, so there are
still plenty of restaurants I want to try.

This time, I visited Echigo Kanouya and ordered their
Wagyu Sukiyaki Gozen with soba.

What I Ordered

Come to think of it, I doThe cold soba is served with a dipping sauce, and I really enjoyed the firm, chewy texture of the noodles.

The Wagyu Sukiyaki Gozen was also tasty, although the beef was seasoned quite sweet. Personally, I think it would have been even better with a little less sweetness, but overall, I still enjoyed it.

The meal was around 2,600 yen, if I remember correctly.

Overall, the food was good, the portion was satisfying, and I think the price was reasonable for what you get.

I’d definitely consider coming back again.n't think I've ever ordered the thick noodles before.
I'll have to give them a try next time.

As always, everything was excellent.

The broth is refined, elegant, and full of deep, layered flavor. The noodles have a pleasant firmness and a wonderful wheat aroma that pairs perfectly with the soup.

The chicken chashu rice bowl was also fantastic. The chicken was incredibly tender and juicy, and the savory sauce over the rice made it even more satisfying.

Overall, it was another delicious and satisfying lunch. 😊
